
Page Williams - Founder/Director
Page Williams holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Greensboro College in Greensboro, NC, where she studied organ with Dr. Lorna Lutz Heyge, adaptor of the Kindermusik program for the U.S.A. and Canada. Page received a Master of Music degree from Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester. She has taught private piano and organ in Newport News since 1971. She has served as Minister of Music and organist at Warwick Memorial United Methodist Church since 1972, where she directs two children's choirs, one youth choir, two adult choirs and three handbell choirs. She began Kindermusik Level I training at Westminster Choir College in 1984 under Dr. Lorna Lutz Heyge. She has been teaching the Musikgarten curriculum written by Dr. Lorna Lutz Heyge and Audrey Sillick since 1994. She is a member of the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association and has been a Level III Certified teacher since 1990.
In addition to the above activities, she is an active member of the Peninsula Music Teachers' Association, the Virginia Federation of Music Clubs, Choristers Guild and the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers. She is also affiliated with the Music Teachers' National Association, and the Fellowship of United Methodist Musicians.
