Covid-19 Procedures

COVID/Sickness Policy - 2022-23
Music for Life Musikgarten Studio

General (applies to all classes)

1. I have THREE air purifiers in the Winona Lake Studio with 5 exchanges an hour. When the weather allows, the windows in the Studio will be opened. My husband and I are fully vaccinated and boosted. 
2. I don't plan to wear a mask while teaching. If I should have any mild symptoms that are possibly non-allergy, I will teach with a MASK and/or take a COVID test out of an abundance of caution.
3. In the bathroom, only paper towels will be available rather than a cloth hand towel.
4. Children (and Adults) should not attend Music Class if they have symptoms of illness (runny nose, congestion, chills, cough, sneezing, fever, stomach ache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, sore throat, muscle aches, unusual fatigue, headache, loss of taste or smell, shortness of breath) or have been exposed and/or tested for Covid-19 or any family member has been exposed to Covid-19. Children with VERY MILD cold or allergy symptoms (congestion, infrequent sneezing, slightly runny nose, mild/infrequent cough) and no known exposure to COVID may attend — please check with me BEFORE sending child.
5. Further measures could be added if there should be a surge of new COVID cases in Kosciusko County (i.e. adding back of distancing in music class— individual yoga mats & boxes of instruments).
6. Masks are optional for all. 
7. My Studio generally follows the Health Guidelines of the Warsaw Public Schools. 

Early Childhood Music Classes
I plan to return to the “old” normal of families sitting where they prefer and instruments handed out by the teacher when needed. (All instruments/scarves are sanitized between use.)


PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT YOU COULD BE EXPOSED TO COVID DURING A MUSIC CLASS.  ATTENDING CLASS ADMITS THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THAT RISK.
