Welcome to Snoqualmie Valley Music, Duvall's premier early childhood music and movement program! We are currently enrolling for Spring term, which begins February 1st. We maintain open enrollment throughout the semester for all but the keyboard classes.
Snoqualmie Valley Music supports your child's musical education by accepting bartering, and offering needs-based scholarships, installment payment plans, and sibling discounts.
"As I'm trying to plan a budget for "tough times," I asked the kids what things we could eliminate from our current expenses. Piano classes were not even mentioned! DVDs, dinners out, etc. could all be slashed. But music is so important, it's worth the cost. Thanks! - Carolyn"
Established in 2001, Snoqualmie Valley Music offers every level of the Musikgarten curriculum, the premier early childhood music and movement program, and has qualified for Musikgarten's Exemplary Program Award since it's inception.
As you consider whether to enroll your child in music classes, please consider these two facts: Research has shown that we are all born with an aptitude for music, but that aptitude diminishes if it is not actively nurtured before the age of nine. Secondly, music and movement activities benefit the child in every way, socially, physically, intellectually, emotionally, etc.
Musikgarten classes are designed to nurture a child’s music aptitude by engaging children and their families in singing and movement activities. These activities help attune the ear, refine the voice, and develop a rhythmic body through which music can be expressed. Weekly attendance at music class is vital, but the most effective nurturing takes place in the home. Your child's musical aptitude is nurtured and home life is enriched as you expand on class activities and integrate them into family routines. As you familiarize yourself with class offerings and learn more about Musikgarten, we look forward to answering your questions and welcoming your family into our program.
