Welcome to the enriching, fun, and musical world of Ms. Robin's.  I am an Early Childhood Music Specialist and am a licensed and certified Kindermusik Educator. In addition, I am licensed by the Bureau of Child Services for the State of Nevada to care for children.  I am an active member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and I am passionate about young children and their wonderful, musical world. I offer a loving environment and quailty care for your child while allowing them to experience several award winning programs.

There are basically four types of programs
 offered at Ms. Robin's.

  •  Ms. Robin's Mini-School:  The premier Kindergarten Readiness program for preschool age children: Prepares children for Kindergarten with an emphasis on the arts. ABC Music & Me, created by Kindermusik and Handwriting Without Tears, is incorporated within this dynamic curriculum that includes storytime, arts and crafts, dramatic play, thematic lessons, academic studies, music & movement and much more. Preschool age children attend 2 to 3 times a week for 3 hours at a time.  Morning and Afternoon programs offered. Fulltime care is not available. Fun summer camps too!
     
  • Kindermusik: for ages 1 1/2  to 7 years: Kindermusik is passionately committed to bringing music to children's lives through developmentally appropriate curricula, CDs, books, instruments, and activities for classes and  family time at home. For more than 25 years, Kindermusik has believed music is the best conductor for learning. During the school year classes are offered but times are limited due to the schedule of Ms Robin's Mini-School. Summer provides a wide variety of high quality classes and camps.
     
  •  Handwriting Without Tears: A positive and FUN way to learn how to write and to improve exisiting handwriting skills.  The program emphasizes fine motor development, correct grip, and letter formation skills.  Children particapate in fun games, crafts, and multi-sensory writing activities that make writing engaging and fun. A multi-sensory approach to writing that is suitable for children with a variety of learning styles-visual, auditory, tactile, and kinesthetic. Offered throughout the year as a 10-week program meeting once a week for 40 minutes or as a private lesson. In the summer it is combined with a fine motor gym, arts and crafts, storytime and gross motor activities too, for an incredibly fun camp!
     
  • Piano for Tiny Hands: for 4, 5 & 6 year-olds: A delightful and enriching piano program, Music for Little Mozarts. This is a carefully crafted curriculum that provides a balance between the discipline necessary for playing the piano and the enjoyment one receives from the process of making music. Taught in a more personal private lesson setting, the course centers on the adventures of Beethoven Bear & Mozart Mouse as they learn about music.
