1.) Enrollment/Registration Fees: A First-Time Enrollment Fee of $20/family will be added to the invoices of NEW FAMILIES for the first session. A Registration Fee of $10/family will be added to the invoices of all RETURNING FAMILIES, each session.

2.) Sibling Discounts: A 10% discount is given off tuition only for multiple students from the same family in Musikgarten or other group classes, or one child attending multiple group classes at the studio.  There are no discounts on private lessons.  There is no discount on materials, but younger siblings can re-use books, recordings, and instruments. 

3.) Friend Referral Credit:  If you have attended classes previously, and are enrolled for the current semester, you can earn $12 off next semester's tuition by recruiting a new family! You can recruit more than one family!  Please list the name(s) of the new family or families in the comment box on the registration form.  All referrals will show as credits on the following semester's invoice.  

Note: this does NOT apply to a new family recruiting another new family.  One family must have attended previously, and BOTH must attend the semester in which they earn this tuition credit.  

4.) Tuition, Payment Plans, Misc.:  Financial help is available!  We want every child to have the opportunity to enjoy music; please call.  If you would like a payment plan for your balance, please let us know and we will send the invoices as requested.

5.) Required Materials: Teachers will hand out materials during the first week of class.  Each booklet contains a CD and an access code for a digital download of the song recordings.  There may be additional materials associated with each age level (song books, instruments, animal cards, note cards, etc.).  The books and recordings are for home use, so you and your child become more familiar with the songs and activities we do in class.

6.) Dropping Class/Refunds:  Regardless of the reason, $50 is non-refundable to cover administrative costs.  Partial refunds or credit are not given for missed classes or for students who drop a class.

7.) Attendance Policy:  If you are unable to attend your class in the studio, you can join that week via Zoom.  Class videos (babies/toddlers) will also be sent each week, so you can have music class any time!  There are no credits or refunds for missed classes. 

8.) Class Size:  Class sizes are limited to a maximum of ten children for baby and toddler classes, 12 children for preschool & music makers classes, and 8 for group piano classes.

9.) Class Guidelines: Please try to be on time. We sit on the floor, so wear comfortable clothing and remove your shoes. Please leave food, toys, pacifiers, drinks, etc. at home or in a diaper bag.  If needed, please step into the hallway for a little break.

10.) Weather Policy:   Please check your email and our Facebook page before coming to class if the weather is bad.  We may reschedule classes or move them to an online format, depending upon the circumstances.

11.) Holidays:  We do NOT close for all holidays.  Check with your teacher for specific holidays  (i.e. Columbus Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents' Day, etc.)

12.) MOST IMPORTANTLY: Please realize that all children learn at different rates and in different ways.  Some children will be quiet in class, others will be active.  Some children will do everything perfectly at home, but not in class.  Your job is to play and have fun with your child, and ensure his/her safety as well as that of other children in the class.  As a parent, you know that every child is unique, so leave your comparisons at the door, and let the music work its magic!
