From Downtown/the Galleria/ I-10 east: West out Interstate10, take first exit past Beltway 8....Wilcrest....
Turn right off the service road onto Upland. Going in about 1 mile on Upland, it will merge (with a slight right) onto Sherwood Forest at the third stop sign. Take the first left , Shadow Wood. It runs into Western Village. Turn left. 1968 Western Village is a white house with green shutters on your left. Currently name on mailbox is Saunders.
It can also be accessed by turning onto Sherwood Forest, off of the Interstate 10 service road. Follow Sherwood Forest one and one-quarter mile to the left at Shadow Oak. (One mile past The Branch School)
From the south, Beltway 8 to Interstate 10 west. Exit Kirkwood. U-turn and go back east on service road to Wilcrest. U-turn at Wilcrest and follow directions above.
From Katy and I-10 west, take Interstate 10 East toward Houston, exit Kirkwood...U turn at Wilcrest under freeway and follow directions above. |
