Child is joined by parent for last 10 minutes of class

*Classes are at 9 AM on either Tuesday or Wednesday mornings in Bedford.  Classes are open to K-3rd grades. This class is designed to accommodate the 5 -7 year old and is a perfect follow-up for children who have completed Music Makers: At Home in the World.   Parents join for the last 10 minutes of music making.  Start date: September 5,6, 2017.

In this class children explore the music, dances and stories of different cultures. Through echoing patterns, the children will build a vocabulary of musical phrases which they can recognize aurally and visually, which leads to an understanding of musical notation. This is great preparation for the children who will be entering the keyboard program the next year: Musik Makers At the Keyboard!!

Materials include a CD, a map, song pages, and notation games. Children will receive 4 packets throughout the 34 weeks.
