CLASS POLICIES:

Please try to be on time because we start promptly.  

Dress comfortably for moving and dancing.

Provide your child with a positive model for joyful music making, listening, and focused attention in the group.  Sing, dance, play, listen, and participate fully in every activity.  If you show enthusiasm and focus, soon your child will too.

Make music a part of family life every day.  Listen to the Family Material CDs frequently.  Sing, dance, and make music with your child at home.

Food, toys or other items from home often cause problems rather than provide comfort when brought into music class. Since another child might want your child’s drink or stuffed animal, it is often easier to leave those things at home or in the car.

Understand that all children learn at different rates and in different ways.  Some children will be quiet in class, others will be active.  Some children will do everything perfectly at home, but not in class.  As a parent, you know that every child is unique, so check your comparisons at the door and let the music work it's magic!

PREVIEWS
To try a Musikgarten class for free before enrolling, please submit a registration form indicating class, date, day, and time you wish to come and write 'Preview' in the Comment section. You can also call 540-290-9014 or email sarah@sarahsmusicstudio.com to schedule a visit.

REGISTRATION
Click on Registration to register online or email sarah@sarahsmusicstudio.com or call 540-290-9014 to register by phone.  
Early registration is highly encouraged and classes are filled on a first come, first served basis.  Your payment guarantees your choice of class day and time.  Be sure to specify preferred class day and time on registration form.  
Classes with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled or reconfigured one week before classes start, so register early to avoid disappointment.

COMMITMENT
Due to the nature of the lessons, please understand that upon registering you are committed to attending the full semester or year of classes.

FAMILY DISCOUNTS
Families with more than one child enrolled are eligible for a 10% discount on total tuition.
 
A limited number of tuition scholarships are available to families who are fiercely committed to attending class and making music a part of daily life at home but are unable to pay full tuition.  Please contact Sarah for more information (540-290-9014 or sarah@sarahsmusicstudio.com).

SPREAD THE WORD
Invite a friend to try a class!  For each registration upon referral, you each receive a $20 tuition credit.  To receive the tuition credit be sure to mention both names on the registration form or  contact Sarah (540-290-9014 or sarah@sarahsmusicstudio.com).
 

WEATHER

If Staunton City Schools are closed due to weather, Musikgarten classes are also canceled. Every attempt will be made to make up missed classes due to weather.  Check Sarah's Music Studio's Face Book page and your email for cancellations.

If Staunton city schools are operating on a delayed schedule, Musikgarten classes meet on their regular schedule.
