Sarah Grove-Humphries graduated from Oberlin College Conservatory of Music and continued her studies at the North German Organ Academy, New England Conservatory of Music, Shenandoah University, and the Musikgarten teacher training program. As a full-time musician she is active as an organist, singer, and pianist.  A fully licensed teacher, she has taught Musikgarten since 2005 and has received the Musikgarten Exemplary Program Award every year since the institution of the award in 2007.  In addition to teaching Musikgarten, she is organist and music director at Emmanuel Episcopal Church and cantor at Temple House of Israel in Staunton.  In her spare time she enjoys singing in local choirs, spending time in her back yard watching birds and growing vegetables, and riding her recumbent bike.
