Dunja Pechstein
 
Dunja Pechstein, a native from Germany, has resided in the United States since 1997. She received her Masters of Music in vocal performance and diploma in vocal pedagogy from the Musikhochschule in Detmold, Germany.

Ms. Pechstein and her husband lived in New York City for seven years, where she taught voice at the United Nations International School and produced the NYC premiere of the mono opera "the Diary of Anne Frank" by Grigori Frid. She moved with her family to Boston in 2004. 

Ms. Pechstein sang the role of Ludmilla in the Opera Boston production of "The Bartered Bride",  produced the mono opera "Flower and Hawk" by Carlisle Floyd and sang concerts with the marimba player Fumito Nunoya. Ms. Pechstein taught general music at the German International School Boston, at the German Saturday School and was voice teacher at the Ecole Bilingue. Dunja Pechstein has been teaching the German Musikgarten Curriculum independently since 2007.



Esther Diana Menke

Esther Diana Menke is a native of northern Germany and has been living in Boston since 2001.

Esther is a trained French food gourmet chef and has worked in the Michelin Star honored restaurant "La Vie" in Osnabrück  in Germany. Esther started her profession as a childcare provider in 1995.  Her love for children and experience in working with children ages 0-16 brought her to New England, where she worked as an Au Pair. Esther received her certificate as EMT in Massachusetts and is currently working as a career Nanny. Esther's interest in the care and development of young children and her enthusiasm for music led to become a Musikgarten teacher in 2015. She lives with her son North of Boston.
