Looking for a fun, interactive musical party for your child?  

We come to you!   

Do you have a young child who loves music? The early childhood music teachers at Musikgarten of Oak Park would love to help make your birthday or block party a memorable and interactive experience.  Our parties are fun for the kids AND grownups, too!  We know that you, your family, and your guests will have a great time.  We are pleased to work with your choice of any particular party theme or any special music.  We can also set up a schedule to make music with your playgroup on a regular basis.

Musical Birthday Party/ Block Party Includes:

    •    35-40 minutes of interactive music and movement time filled with music and musical activities.

    •    Everyone is invited to participate, and activities can be tailored to any age (babies, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners).

    •    Themed songs / activities - seasonal songs or some of your favorites (please let us know in advance).

    •    Activities may include personalized songs, songs and chants building on literacy skills; instrument play (e.g. rhythm sticks, hand bells, egg shakers), activities with props (e.g. scarves, parachute, balls), stop and go activities, fun and silly songs, quiet songs, and of course "Happy Birthday!"

    •    We will come to the location with everything we need - such as a guitar or ukulele, props, sound system and all of the instruments included.

    •    If you are interested in purchasing simple percussion instruments or props for your guests to take home, let us know and we can order them in advance for you. Musikgarten provides high-quality drums, maracas, scarves, and wooden instruments at a reasonable cost.

You provide:

    •    Space for everyone to make music, dance, and move around.

    •    Outlet for our sound system.

    •    Guests ready to participate and have a good time!

Cost:  $200*
*Additional charge may apply if location is outside of Oak Park or the surrounding area.
